I assume I'll have to ship the package from my location in Georgia to California, Washington, or some other more costly domestic destination. But if a bidder wins it in Georgia then shipping is often less. My operating procedures do not easily allow me to handle this on the front end. And sometimes it is simply because packages weigh less than expected after they are prepared for shipment. That said, please understand that this is not intentional. My inventory is constantly changing with new and different sized items. In an effort to get as much listed for your shopping pleasure as possible I simply estimate as best I can a fair shipping charge. Therefore, if your package has a significant difference over $2.00 in what I charged you verses what it actually cost to ship, please feel free to let me know. Simply supply me with your city, state and zip code so that I may verify against the postal receipt the difference and so refund the excessive charge. ~ E-MAIL CONFIRMATIONS: You will receive a confirmation e-mail when your package ships. Please note that this confirmation e-mail will only be sent to the e-mail address you paid with, the one tied to your PayPal account. Many people have different e-mail addresses for their eBay and their PayPal account, so please be aware of this as their will be no other form of communication sent confirming shipment. ~ TRACKING NUMBERS: Tracking numbers are available for select purchases but I ask that you please request this information only if there is a problem such as a delayed delivery. Generally, if you have not received your package within 6 business days for domestic or 12 business days for international shipments then their could be a problem. Usually you will receive them sooner than that but I ask you allow at least this long. Ninety-nine times out of one hundred your carrier has attempted to deliver and nobody was home to receive the package. A simply phone call to them is usually the quickest way to resolve this issue though I am of course happy to help. If a tracking number is not available, all I ask is that you please be willing to contact your local carrier to attempt to obtain the package before pursuing other options. ~ I WILL ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS: I always, without exception, answer all e-mails I receive and I usually do so within 12 hours. If you have e-mailed me and do not get a response in that time please understand that your message did not reach me or my reply did not reach you. You may wish to check your spam filter and, if no reply is to be found, please try again either through empireauctions@catt.com directly or use eBay's messaging system via the "Contact Seller" link. ~ INSURANCE: To protect both you and myself from the postal carriers neglect or mistreatment of a package, certain more costly items are insured automatically. If damaged, please note that it is the responsibility of the buyer to file a claim with the carrier. I am happy to help in any way I can but the carrier will insist upon seeing the damaged merchandise along with the box it was shipped in as well as all the packaging material used to protect it (so please be sure not to discard them), which you have in hand. ~ ISSUES/CONCERNS: While I strive to offer stellar customer service there are certain situations out of my control.
